Dear students,
Halloween is next week and we are celebrating it with our own ghost story. I wrote the beginning and you should continue it according to your imagination. You can start posting comments to continue it, but please follow the rules.
1. Each comment mustn’t have more than 150 words.
2. Each student can comment only two times.
3. Try to keep the initial tone and don’t forget to mention the characters who are already part of the story.
4. You may add new characters, human or not, as long as they fit the story. Don’t forget to describe them.
5. If two of you post almost at the same time, the last entry will be deleted or you can edit it according to the previous post.
6. Don’t write your paragraph directly in the comment box – copy it from a word document previously written.
7. Pay attention to the previous details and don't complicate the story too much.

It was foggy and cold on that dark moonless night. One could hear cats disturbingly crying and screaming as if they were being tortured by shadows. The small village was sleeping, but Dr. Farrow was returning home from Jake’s house. “Why can’t I find a reason for those strange scars on Jake’s body? Where did they come from? They keep appearing from nowhere… And all that agony… The man is in so much pain and I can’t help him” – he thought. Suddenly, a dog started barking furiously and Dr. Farrow got startled in a jump, feeling his heart bumping in his chest. He took some minutes to recover and continued his way home. His house was in the woods just outside the village, and there he lived with his wife and daughter. “Strange… the lights are on” – he thought while opening the door. He couldn’t understand the terrible picture he saw next: Marian and Eve, his wife and daughter, were sitting on the sofa and they didn’t look human. Their faces were very pale covered in purple veins, their eyes were all white and they had a frightening smile. “We were waiting for you, Daddy!” – it wasn’t Eve’s voice anymore, it was the voice of a monster.

Dr. Farrow suddently dropped his briefcase with fear. "Who are you? What have you done to my family?!" – he asked whille walking backwards in panic.
ReplyDeleteSuddently there was a lightning where Dr. Farrow could notice a shadow watching from the window. The momment he looked at the window his wife Marian, or what was left of her, jumped on him cutting his throat with a knife and making him bleed to death whille both Marian and Eve were laughing so loud that the wholle village could hear.
The day after, Jake went to visit Dr. Farrow about some nightmare he had over night. When he got to Dr. Farrow's house he noticed the police was there and started wondering what happenned. He entered the house and found Dr. Farrow's corpse laying on the ground being inspected by the police.
This is getting spooky! Wonderful so far! Come on, boys and girls, go on with our terror story!
ReplyDeleteHe just stopped there, wondering why in the world was he dead. He got really sad to know that he did not have Dr. Farrow's help anymore. He asked the police what had just happened, and they couldn't answer him. In fact, policements cannot give information about their cases. He went home to think through about everything, because he couldn't believe in that night, it was superb, something unbelievable, something not from this world. Later, in the squadron, the officers didn't know what to do. The cuts in Dr. Farrow's throat were deep and made by a sharp thing, but they weren't able to find any knifes or sharp things in the room. So, they though bigger, they though about something paranormal.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile,at Jake's home, Jake was in pain. Some days ago he was attacked in the florest by a strange animal. Since then he started feeling wierd and have strange needs. In the afternoon, when he was walking through the florest, he feels a presence near him...
ReplyDeleteHe was afraid, thinking it was the same animal that had attacked before, then picked up a stick that was on the forest floor to try to defend, but when he returned he saw nothing, afraid, kept walking.
ReplyDeleteSuddenly he heard a voice coming from nowhere and tried to figure out who it was, but could not see anyone. When he turned to the front, saw the ghost of Dr. Farrow.
Very scared, tried to flee, but Dr. Farrow's voice telling him not to be afraid. At that moment Jake stopped and asked why Dr. Farrow walk behind him, there Dr.Farrow says he just wants him to know that despite not having been able to help while he was alive, will always be with him and warns him to be careful because the same day at night, something scary will happen ...
Jake became increasingly distressed, he began to run through the trees of the forest, until suddenly he fell, he could not get up, the thunder began to get close to him he screamed with all his strength but nobody listened.
